Your attitude and conduct assures your safety, the safety of our neighbors and fellow members. It is required to DISPLAY your membership card when using your club. Please use the new card holder lanyards, available at the club, for convenient display of your membership card. Lanyards are free to members with donations appreciated. RANGES

Shotgun Range / Trap Shooting

  • 4 trap houses - voice controlled by shooter
  • Scoring sheds; prep area and seating benches to rear
  • Each Thursday – trap league practice shoots open to all. 8:00 to 12:00
  • Every 4th Sunday is a trap league competition shooting 8:00 to 2:00
  • Hand throwing is allowed but please keep area clean

Shotgun Patterning Board

  • Shotguns only; shotshells only – no slugs
  • No pistols nor any other firearms permitted
  • Next to pistol range
  • Ready equipment table

Pistol Range – 25 Yards

  • 10 position outdoor range including
  • 2-seat positions bench rest tables
  • Full table firing points – movable seating bench available
  • Ready benches for equipment
  • Firing points and ready area all under roof
  • Road access - parking area directly adjacent
  • Six (6) rounds per handgun limit - new
  • Handguns, rimfire rifles and muzzleloaders only permitted – no centerfire rifles
  • No shotshells
  • Please keep your range clean - remove your casings, targets and trash
  • 2nd Saturday – Spring and Summer – Bullseye match – open to all – 9:00 – 12:00
  • Range closed when matches are being conducted
  • Pistol ranges open during shotgun matches and practices

  • 9+ position outdoor range
  • 10 and 15 yard marked positions
  • Ready area gear tables / benches

100 Yard Rifle Range

  • Beautiful farm country panorama
  • 6-seat new bench rest tables – roofed firing points
  • Macadam parking area directly to the rear
  • New wooden footbridge to target backstop
  • Three (3) rounds per rifle limit before reloading - new
  • NO AUTOMATIC FIRE
  • Paper targets only – strictly enforced
  • Working farm area behind safety berm. Stop all shooting until farmer is clear
  • Please keep your range clean - remove your casings, targets and trash
  • Please obey all range rules and signs for your safety

50 Yard Rifle Range

  • 4-seat new open bench rest tables on concrete pad
  • Foot access only from Rifle Range parking area – vehicles not permitted due to wet grounds
  • All rules must be followed per the 100 yd. Range
  • Pistols and rifles permitted

Archery Range

  • Groomed grassy approaches
  • Offset distance targets - 15 to 50 yards
  • Marked firing point with bow rack
  • Separate from shooting ranges
  • Adjacent to parking area

Range Rules and Regulations   Printer Friendly Range Rules

Overall Rules

  1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
  2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
  4. Eye and ear protection is required.
  5. DO NOT handle firearms while someone is forward of the firing line.
  6. All firearms must have actions open if a person is down range or farmer is in immediate vicinity.
  7. Members only. No guests. (Exception: Club scheduled events)
  8. Range(s) may be closed during scheduled events.
  9. Courtesy and sharing range etiquette expected when using ranges.
  10. Paper targets only – on target backer only. NOT on posts or backer support (red color).
  11. NO alcoholic beverages allowed.
  12. NO littering – remove targets and dispose of all trash.
  13. NO vehicles allowed on range.
  14. No shotguns to be used on target backers, except slugs.
  15. Any violation of the rules can result in expulsion.
  16. No weapons fired in full auto mode. Immediate expulsion.
  17. Must display membership card in full view when shooting.
  18. Firing at any target support is cause for expulsion.

100 Yard Rifle Range Rules

Three (3) rounds per rifle limit as a fired string NO AUTOMATIC FIRE Paper targets only – strictly enforced Working farm area behind safety berm. Stop all shooting until farmer is clear.

50 Yard Range Rules

Foot access only from Rifle Range parking area – vehicles not permitted account wet grounds All rules must be followed per the 100 Yard Rifle Range Pistols and rifles permitted.

Pistol Range Rules – 25 Yards and mid-distance (15 yards)

Six (6) rounds per handgun limit as a fired string.
Handguns, rimfire rifles and muzzleloaders ONLY permitted – NO CENTERFIRE RIFLES (for example AR).
No rifle calibers - No pistol calibers above .45 caliber.
No shotshells.
2nd Saturday – Spring and Summer – Bullseye match – open to all – 9:00 – 12:00.
4th Saturday – Action Pistol Shoot – open to all – 9:00 – 12:00.
25 yard range closed for Bullseye matches and Action Pistol Shoots; 15 yard range open.
Pistol ranges open during shotgun matches and practices.
